Miss Lilly Hall Stands by the door Looking in the mirror at life wondering where her life time has run to Cornelius Thorne He has it all Hiding in the shadows at night waiting for the shop girl Betty Clyde Miss Norma May She has her way With the milkman, postman, sailor shame the local taylor Won't oblige. Come on lets hide said Betty Clyde Picking at half painted window frames Mr Thorn started to morn Breaking out in hot sweat and cool dark shades La de day whispered Miss May Checking out Charles Browne the car sales man La de day we've got today La de da. Miss Lilly Hall She took a fall Opening the windows at dawn waiting for her lover Jack McGraw Cornelius Thorne He lost it all On the black jack high risk tables of Las Vegas town A Frankie boy Miss Betty Clyde Misplaced her mind In the garbage washroom cellar She's not sure the fortune teller lied. Come on lets hide said Betty Clyde Mr Thorn started to morn La de day whispered Miss May Checking out Tom Grey the fireman La de day we've got today La de da we hold the stars La de day whispered Miss May Lad de da, la de da de da da da.

There was a man Who had a plan To live his life Under the night He closed his eyes And visualised Playing the game Of fear and shame Who do you think you're fooling Come kill the sacrifice. A brighter day will come your way remember The grass is green under your own two feet People say pain is part of the package my sweet December Look around you this grey wall of madness will fall from you, fall from you. There was a girl Who ruled the world but she was blind To all mankind She gave her all When she was small But now she's grown She's coming home How can you say you're stupid Come open up your eyes. How can you say you're stupid. A brighter day will come your way remember The grass is green under your own two feet People say pain is part of the package my sweet December Look around you this grey wall of madness will fall from you, fall from you.

Little girl its time for you to loose those blues Over the hills where the sun shines and the clouds roll by in spills and trills Little girl its time for you to take a bow Leave the past where it slumbers start living in the here and now Little girl don't be afraid to dry your eyes Pull yourself together now just lift your head up to the skies Little girl stop feeling sorry for yourself Run with life push through the strife you'll feel much better about yourself. Tinkling bells and carousels, sunshine, rain and wishing wells All the things in life that make this life a precious thing Rainbow colours summer songs, eat an ice cream all day long Lying on a beach in some deserted paradise. All the things you are that make you special All the things you are that make you different All the things, all the things, all the things you are All the things, all the things, all the things you are Little girl it's time to be a butterfly Spread your wings, forgive your sins your here for such a short long while Little girl you're beautiful in every way Don't look back and don't look forward just be thankful for the day Oooh oooh ooh ooh oooh Oooh oooh ooh ooh oooh Oooh oh ooh, oooh ooh ooh, oooh oooh ooh ooh oooh Oooh oh ooh, oooh ooh ooh, oooh oooh ooh ooh oooh Tinkling bells and carousels, sunshine, rain and wishing wells All the things in life that make this life a precious thing Rainbow colours summer songs, eat an ice cream all day long Lying on a beach in some deserted paradise.

There I was Trying to find me. I hold my breath a while And I try and think about stuff Somehow I'll fly Fly. Don't delve to deeply child When you are remembering things Mean hearts Heal now. do do da da dow na da da dow ooh ooh do do da da dow na da da dow. Does the brainchild hold a mind Cracks appear and no one seems to care Silent voices silent cries Truth is out there do you dare to try. I hold my breath a while And I try and think about stuff Somehow I'll fly Fly. do do da da dow na da da dow ooh ooh do do da da dow na da da dow. I lift my head up now When I am pretending to me I know who cares Cares. Does the brainchild hold a mind Cracks appear and no one seems to care Silent voices silent cries Truth is out there do you dare to try. Does the brainchild hold a mind. No one seems to care.

about

"Soul Sessions" is a collection of recordings produced by Kraze One during the late 1990s\early 2000s that feature collaborations with singer\song writers: Aniis Le Neve, Oleanna Jones, Kathryn Peck, Laura Cristy and keyboardist Nigel Neil (The Jedi Master). The project evolved shortly after Kraze One established his production suite\beat making facility One On One Productions.

While searching for samples and producing backing tracks for pioneering Hip Hop crew True Element (soundcloud.com/trueelement) Kraze One began to build up a library of beats. Not all were suitable for the Hip Hop project and in 1999 inspired by artists such as Morcheeba and Lauren Hill Kraze One reached out to several local singers to collaborate on a series of independent recordings.

During the year 2000 the recording entitled "Lilly Hall" that was produced by Kraze One and featuring vocals written & performed by Annis Le Neve was released by Apeman records as a 7" single (www.discogs.com/release/45216-Kraze-One-Annis-Le-Neue-Lilly-Hall). The release of the recording and its feature on Radio One's Worldwide show with DJ Giles Peterson opened up several further opportunities for both Kraze One and Annis Le Neve allowing their music to be heard outside of their native local music scene in Milton Keynes, UK.

In 2001 "Lilly Hall" was rereleased as part of a 12" vinyl sampler entitled "Warp factor 4" on the King Kladez record label (www.discogs.com/release/1813678-Various-Warp-Factor-4-Sampler-12). The recording was also featured on a compilation CD entitled "Free Ways" for Le Shop Paris on Gratitude Recordings (www.discogs.com/release/6925099-Various-Free-Ways) and in 2003 formed part of the CD\Vinyl compilation "Another late night" by Kid Loco on Azuli Recordings (www.discogs.com/release/135698-Kid-Loco-AnotherLateNight).

The reception of "Lilly Hall" lead to the second and only other recording created by Kraze One & Aniis Le Neve during this period entitled "Stories" being released as a 7" vinyl single by Apeman Records in 2001 (www.discogs.com/release/96592-Annis-Le-Neve-Stories-Version). Both recordings form part of the digital release of "Soul Sessions" which is a modified version of a Kraze One recording project originally released in 2001 by Brighton based Cellar Sessions recordings.

The digital release builds upon the original CD which contained all the vocal tracks plus the composition "Cosmic Dusk" which was a modified instrumental of "Lilly Hall" that features a solo keyboard performance by Nigel Neil (The Jedi Master). The digital release also contains the unreleased bonus track "Little Girl" that was created by Kraze One & Aniis Le Neve during 2003. Finally the digital rework of "Soul Sessions" features the instrumental versions of all the recordings and a slightly modified version of the original artwork created by Duffian from High Street Media.
